We enter into contracts on a regular basis, but do you really understand what all the terms and conditions you are signing actually mean. This Webinar will explore various contract terms and conditions regularly included in construction contacts, what impact those terms could have on your business, and terms you should watch out for, so you don’t end up in an ugly dispute. Some of the terms that will be explored are dispute resolution procedures and their impact on claims made against you as well as a payment claim you may have against a customer; what is really being waived by a consequential damages waiver, who and what is being indemnified through indemnification clauses, and payment terms and the impact South Carolina law could have on what is in your contract, among others. There will also be a bonus refresher on the filing of mechanic’s liens and the deadlines you must act by.
